In yesterday’s post, I discussed the benefits and considerations for scheduling an in-home lifestyle photography session. Today, I thought I would fully balance out the discussion by contrasting with the benefits of Chattanooga photography studio sessions.
When it’s cold and dreary like in the dead of the winter months or stuffy and blazing hot like in the middle of summer, outdoor sessions are not always an ideal option. But what if the thought of hosting a photoshoot in your home is more stress than you’re interested in taking on? No judgement. I have three little mess makers at home. I honestly acknowledge that our house is often a wreck. However a chaotic backdrop is not usually my desire for timeless family portraits. What if you’ve recently moved and haven’t decorated your house? Sometimes, leaving the house in favor of a clean, simple backdrop is the less stressful option.
Even if the description of the last paragraph doesn’t fit, there are benefits of Chattanooga photography studio sessions worth considering. Portraits taken in front of simple backdrops are crisp, clean and timeless. They can be incorporated into decor as wall art even more easily than outdoor sessions. With outdoor sessions one must consider how the colors of leaves or flowers may compliment (or not compliment) the colors already present in the room.
While I do not currently offer a permanent studio space, I do schedule pop up style studio photography sessions in Chattanooga throughout the year. My children heirloom portrait sessions are a particular favorite. However, I’m happy to schedule motherhood and family sessions with studio backdrops as well. To see more of my portfolio, click here.
