Kelley Hoagland Photography helps busy moms document the current season of life through Chattanooga Photography. As a former pediatric occupational therapist, I still put my skillset to work by playfully getting the best smiles out of your energetic little ones. I realize that most people would not describe family photography as a "low stress" venture. There's a lot of prep involved for parents. Then who knows how your kids will act once you actually get to the session! (Trust me, I can handle whatever they throw my way.) My goal is to make the process as relaxed as possible for everyone involved. My process is organized and full of support for you! Working with me for your Chattanooga photography includes a session planning consult with location suggestions, access to my client closet full of dresses for mom, expert tips for preparing the whole family (many of which come from my decade of experience as a pediatric occupational therapist), and full service for designing and ordering print products. I want you to arrive to your session undistracted and ready to focus on the most important part of this process: connecting with your family.

As one of the few full service Chattanooga Photographers, every image you walk away from our session with will come with both a digital file and at minimum a fine art print. I've seen it happen time and time again. Even though you may absolutely love your portraits, the process of printing and framing your photos or designing an album may easily get lost on the bottom of your ever growing to-do list. As your Chattanooga family photographer let me take care of the process for you! I offer archival quality framed prints and albums that will stand the test of time (and little hands). Let's work together to fill your home with the faces of the ones you love most. Instead of letting your images get lost in your overcrowded phone camera roll, let's create something tangible that slows you down instead of encouraging you to swipe past.

1. When Should I Reach Out To Book you as my Chattanooga Photographer??
It's never to early to touch base with me, especially if your are wanting to book a maternity or newborn session. Most families book with me about 2 months in advance. However, don't let that scare you off from contacting me. I'm happy to work people in last minute if my schedule allows. Filling out the contact form on this website or emailing me is usually the best way to get in touch!
2. Where do you do sessions?
I'm happy to photograph you outdoors at a scenic location, in and around your house, or in-studio. I'll offer location recommendations as part of our planning process. We will customize your session based on your preferences or vision.
3. I don't know what to do with my hands! Will you tell us what to do?
Don't worry! I won't leave you hanging. Part of my job during your Chattanooga photography session is to guide your through the process. I'll give you plenty of direction, but also watch out for times to capture more organic, candid moments.
4. Will you help us figure out what to wear?
Think about it this way: The clothes you wear actually pretty prominent in your photos. The colors and textures you choose can actually have a large impact on the overall feel of your images. Therefore, I'm here to be a resource and help you choose pieces that will photograph well and look cohesive. I also offer and client closet that you can borrow from free of charge.
5. Will you help us print our images?
It means that it is my goal to help you get your images off of a computer or hard drive and professionally printed. Digital files are great for sharing electronically (and you'll get a digital copy of images you purchase), but I think we're losing something by not prioritizing tangible prints of our family's memories. Technology is constantly evolving and changing. My wedding photos were delivered via a CD. I don't even have a device that read a CD anymore! I partner with professional print labs who use the highest quality materials. With proper care, these prints and albums are rated to last over 100 years. Talk about a true heirloom!
