"Kelley was awesome! She knew how to make the girls comfortable and captured them with natural smiles and perfect {portraits}! I would highly recommend her and if occasion arise that I need a photographer again, Kelley will be my first choice!"

Wondering when you should schedule your Chattanooga Senior Portraits? Well, there's no one right answer.  I'll first note that my schedule usually fills up about 2-3 months in advance, especially during peak seasons like the spring and fall. It's never too early to reach out through my website contact form.

Traditionally, many seniors schedule their portraits in the summer before their senior year. Summer is a great time for senior portraits because schedules tend to be looser with fewer extra curricular activities on the schedule.  In the summer you can knock out your senior photos before the festivities of senior year begin.  This also allows you plenty of time to get your images back before yearbook due dates.

The fall of senior year is the second most popular time to schedule.  The weather starts to cool off.  Our area usually has magical colors during the fall!  If you envision portraits with a more cozy feel and love fall colors, this season is a great option.  However, do note that the sun sets earlier and earlier in the fall, limiting afterschool photoshoot hours. The brightest fall colors usually appear at the end of October and beginning of November. This timeframe may be too late for some yearbook deadlines.

Are you reading this in the spring of your senior year?  You wouldn't be the first senior I've photographed right before the end of school. It's okay if you've decided you want Senior Portraits last minute.  Your accomplishments are worth celebrating now more than ever!  At this point, you might as well bring long your cap and gown for a few shots if you already have one.

Want to learn more about how things will flow when you book me for a Chattanooga senior photography session? Here's my process:
1) Fill out the form on my contact page and select "Senior" as the type of session that you are seeking to book.
2) You will receive an email from me that includes a link to the full price list and includes a questionnaire.  Please fill out the questionnaire to give me insight into what type of senior session you are wanting to book and what you are envisioning.  This will help me provide you with the correct booking information more effeciently.
3) Once I receive your questionnaire, I will send the appropriate booking link.  Through the link you'll be able to select your session date and time, sign the contract, and pay the session retainer fee to fully book your spot.  Your Chattanooga senior portrait photoshoot will not be fully booked until all of these steps are completed.
4) Leading up to the session, I make myself available to help you choose locations and outfits.

During the session it's time to have fun and celebrate!  Don't worry, I won't leave you unsure of what to do in front of the camera.  I will prompt you and guide you through a variety of poses.

After the session:
1) You will receive a link to an online proofing gallery about 1-1.5 weeks after your session. On the gallery you will be able to choose which images you would like to include in your package as well as view photography products such as wall art frame and album covers.  Your online proofing gallery will remain live for 3 days in order for you to choose your Chattanooga Senior Portraits.  (I'm also happy to. meet in person or via zoom if preferred.)

2) Once you've chosen your images and paid any applicable invoices, I will get to work on final touch ups on your chosen images.  Touch ups include fixing temporary blemishes, smoothing fizzy hair and fly aways, and smoothing clothing wrinkles.

3) You will receive a link to a downloadable photo gallery approximately 1 week after favorites are chosen and all invoices are paid.

I do not offer a digital only package. This is honestly something that sets me apart from many other photographers in the area.

These images mark a major milestone and are meant to be to printed professionally. With proper care, these prints are rated to last for 100+ years. I have carefully chosen professional labs with excellent customer service and print quality. Their colors match what I see on the screen. I cannot guarantee the quality of prints purchased from other print labs.

Also- I fully recognize how full and hectic senior year can become between all of the special events and major deadlines.  Let me take this small task off of your plate and ensure that your Senior Portraits don't get lost in your camera roll or on a dust hard drive that will eventually crash.

All purchases come with a physical and digital copy. Albums are a popular option for Chattanooga Senior Photography Sessions.

I send out proofing galleries within 1-1.5 weeks of the photoshoot. The galleries stay live for 3 days to allow you to choose the images you would like to purchase.

Once you've chosen your images and products, and paid the invoice, I get to work on final, detailed, profesionally touch ups. During this phase I touch up fly away hair, skin blemishes, etc. The final images are complete and delivered via a downloadable gallery 1 week after the invoice is completed.

Wall art and albums from your Chattanooga Senior Portraits can take up to 6 weeks to arrive. Prints arrive within 2 weeks.

I require a model release for anyone outside of your family participating in the photoshoot. If bringing along 1 friend (2 total seniors) I would recommend you both combining 2 "half sessions". The total session will last for 1 hour giving plenty of time to get individual portraits and portraits together. You will each receive your own proofing gallery to purchase from and are welcome to share images with each other.

For larger groups, let's chat and come up with a plan that will allow for plenty of time for everyone to get portraits that they love!
