For the past 5 (?) years, we have been visiting a family friend’s cabin on Pickwick Lake every summer and winter. These trips used to be characterized by hours of board games, reading, napping, boating, and lounging. Now, with four kiddos aged 2 years old and younger, the dynamic has certainly changed. Our itinerary is now dictated by sleep schedules and we spend much more time collecting pine cones. Nonetheless, it is a joy to spend a long weekend with friends and a perfect opportunity to snap family photos in a beautiful setting.
