Chattanooga TN Newborn Photographers love getting to see families go through the precious transition of adding a family member. I met this family last fall for a quick family photography session. Big brother was not so sure about me during that session. However, I was able to capture some sweet moments of this crew while they were still just a family of 3.

For this newborn session, instead of meeting at a local park, I got to come to their beautiful home. (If you have been following my work for long, you know that I had a complete field day with all of their white walls.) Big brother warmed up much more quickly on his home turf and even allowed me to play with his two special toys while I took the family pictures. In return, I let me push the shutter button on my camera. That was a big hit.

The sweet Harvey babe pretty much snoozed through his newborn session until, like clockwork, it was his time to eat. As one of the Chattanooga TN newborn photographers serving Signal Moutain, I’ve worked with quite a few families during this newborn stage. I’ve observed that there’s a certain calm and confidence that parents’ possess when it’s their second time around, resulting in chill second-born babies. This was true in my own experience as a mom. I had such a better grasp on reading cues and knew that every phase would quickly pass.
