I met the Patels last Thanksgiving when I shot a family session for the whole extended family. I was thrilled when Kalindi reached out and let me know Shivan and Alli are expecting their first child and that she wanted a Chattanooga maternity photography session of them while they were in town. As it turns out, Allie is due four days after me! We are both having sweet little girls.

It was 90 degrees and so very humid, but Allie absolutely rocked this session. Our summer weather that was quite different from what they left behind in Chicago! Here are some of my favorites from the session. Their daughter will arrive before they know it and their family will never be the same. It’s so special to have the opportunity to photograph their unique time in their lives. Their parent’s excitement was certainly contagious. I know that they will be so grateful Kalindi scheduled these pictures when they look back on this season of their lives.
