I’m ready for spring over here! The Hoagland girls are restless and tired of being cooped up. We ventured out to our yard a few afternoons when the sun was at least shining. As you’ll see, Margaret protested a lot. On one of these afternoons, Caroline brought her after nap snack outside and ate it on the front step. Afterwards, she started to run off to play in the yard when she stopped and looked down at her hands. “My hands are bleeding!”she wailed. “They aren’t bleeding. They’re just red from being cold. You need your gloves,” I tried to explain. She refuses to play anymore after that.
